We are seeking Radiologists who have considerable experience and expertise in general radiology with either FRANZCR or an equivalent qualification that would lead to specialist recognition, and have an ongoing commitment to providing a high-class service to the community. SENIOR SONOGRAPHER - Auckland

Due to continued business growth and our commitment as a private radiology provider to training New Zealanders to becoming qualified sonographers, we have established a new position for an experienced Sonographer with a desire and ability to train and develop others. This position will provide effective support to the Lead Sonographer in the training and development of staff, whilst also providing a standard of ultrasound services to maintain high levels of patient satisfaction and efficient practice operation.

This role will suit someone with strong ultrasound skills including abdominal, pelvic, obstetrics, small parts, musculoskeletal and vascular, who wishes to take a lead role in:

• Up skilling other Sonographers across all ultrasound procedures offered at our clinics;
• Managing our Trainee Sonographer learning programme ensuring appropriate practical instruction and on-going assessment of all trainees to enable them to meet the professional requirements and skills to becoming a qualified sonographer; and
• Monitoring the Ultrasound QA programmes.

Successful candidates will:

• Have proven experience in supervising and/or tutoring other staff;
• Act with integrity and adherence to the highest ethical standards;
